A Message from the Owner
AMS Accounting & Tax, located at the corner of Columbus Street and Richard Avenue in the heart of Grove City, opened on July 1, 2002. Over the past several years, AMS has grown steadily due to several much appreciated referrals from many of our satisfied clients, the mutual growth of many of our existing clients' businesses, and the rapid population expansion in the Grove City area. In fact, we recently added a third team member to our staff to better serve our clients' needs. The reason I feel we receive so many referrals is that we care about our clients and do whatever it takes to help them achieve their desired goal. We always treat our clients with respect and never make them feel that their situation/question is unimportant. Additionally, I want you to walk away from your experience with AMS feeling confident that you got your money's worth!
As a longtime Grove City resident with many ties to the city and its history, I look forward to continuing the legacy of success enjoyed by my relatives. My great-grandparents, Joe and Margaret White, founded Broadway Cleaners (still serving GC residents today albeit under different ownership) in 1945. After their retirement, the cleaners was operated for many years by my grandparents, Bill and Marlyn England. Additionally, my late grandmother, Mary Lou Singleton, was co-founder and operator of the Village Merchant General Store on Broadway. The store is now owned and operated by my aunt, Kelly Phillips. In fact, my parents, sister, grandparents, great-grandmother, and many aunts and uncles still reside in Grove City, as they have most or all of their lives.
