Aaron M. Singleton, CPA Owner
Aaron opened AMS Accounting & Tax in July of 2002 with a vision of creating a CPA firm that cared about its clients more than its billable hours. He was the valedictorian of his graduating class at Columbus State Community College and was selected to present the class remarks at the commencement ceremony which was attended by several thousand people. Following graduation, Aaron sat for the difficult CPA examination and passed all four sections of the exam on his first attempt.
Prior to founding AMS, Aaron was a staff accountant at another local firm and gained valuable experience dealing with tax issues for individuals and small businesses. He has extensive experience in individual and corporate taxation, non-profit entity taxation, payroll policies and procedures, and QuickBooks© consulting.
A graduate of Grove City High School, Aaron and his wife, Heather, have two children, Jacob and Katie, and a yellow lab, Scoonie. Aaron is a huge Ohio State football and basketball fan and watches each game religiously. He also enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and coaching Jacob's sports teams.
